On May 25th, a unique Guandan (a popular card game) competition was held at China Bester’s headquarters, with the 2024 "China Bester Cup" Elite Guandan Competition for the Hubei Telecommunication Industry taking place passionately in the Beijing Hall on the third floor of the China Bester Telecom Building. Organized by the Hubei Communications Industry Association and hosted by China Bester Group Telecom Co., LTD, with technical support provided by Migu Culture Technology Co., Ltd, this competition aimed to comprehensively implement the national strategy of national fitness, enrich the cultural life of staff in the telecommunication industry, promote traditional Chinese culture, foster a solid foundation for cultural construction in Hubei's telecommunication industry, and further promote the high-quality development of the information and communication industry.

With the theme of "Strengthening Communication, Achieving Win-Win Cooperation," this event received strong support from Hubei Communications Administration. Hubei Communications Industry Association hoped to promote intra-industry exchanges and enhance friendship through hosting this Guandan competition. The tournament attracted active participation from Guandan enthusiasts, who enjoyed joy and friendship through skillful competitions. To enhance the fun and participation of the competition, special "Challenge Matches" and "Friendship Matches" were set up. Among them, the "Challenge Matches" were conducted strictly according to official competition rules, while the "Friendship Matches" focused more on participation and communication.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Secretary Deng Yuehua of the Hubei Communications Industry Association. Wu Jun, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director and other leaders from the Hubei Communications Administration, attended the event. Li Liubing, the Chairman of China Bester Group, delivered a welcoming speech. Tao Hua, the Deputy Chairman of Hubei Communications Industry Association, delivered a keynote speech on behalf of the Association, expressing the hope that the Guandan competition would further promote the cultural construction of the Hubei Communications industry and foster exchanges and cooperation among peers in the industry. Following that, Liang Changdao, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Hubei Communications Administration, announced the official start of the competition.

As the referee gave the command, the contestants quickly immersed themselves in the game, either focusing intently on their strategies, making decisive moves, or coordinating seamlessly with their teammates. The atmosphere of the competition venue was tense yet exciting. During the challenge matches, the participants strictly adhered to the rules, exhibiting their superior card-playing skills and profound strategic planning abilities. And in the friendship matches, the contestants were more relaxed, enjoying the fun and pleasure brought by the competition.

After a day of intense competition, ultimately, the teams representing China Bester Group, ZTE Hubei Branch, and Hubei Communications Industry Association swept the top three spots in the Friendship Match. Meanwhile, the teams representing China Bester Group, China Mobile Migu, and NSFOCUS captured the first three places in the Challenge Match.

Moreover, the organizing committee of the competition also awarded the Sportsmanship Award to both organizations and individuals, with six representatives from Hubei Communications Administration, Hubei Unicom, Hubei Telecom, and other organizations receiving the honor.

Additionally, six organizations including China Post Hubei Branch, China Tower Hubei Branch, CICT Group, Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (YOFC), China Bester Group, and the 3rd Engineering Bureau of CITCC were awarded the Excellent Organization Award. China Bester Group also received the Memorial Cup for hosting the event.

At around 18:00 pm, 2024 "China Bester Cup" Elite Guandan Competition for the Hubei Telecommunication Industry came to a successful conclusion in a lively atmosphere. This competition brought joy and friendship to the participants, providing a platform for the colleagues in Hubei Telecommunication Industry to showcase themselves, exchange ideas, and learn from each other. It also enriched everyone's cultural life, effectively enhanced the cohesion and centripetal force of the industry, and added a vibrant touch to the cultural construction of the industry.
